Chelsea Martin

Chelsea Martin has studied and practiced yoga for over 7 years, and has been teaching for four. Her passion for yoga and a healthy lifestyle has driven her to study Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Nutrition. Chelsea received her 200 hour Teacher Training Certification through the Soul of Yoga, located in Southern California in 2005.

Studying Hatha yoga with Anusara principles, leads her to focus on strengthening and lengthening in poses with the breath, while leaving a space for students to grow in their practice.
Prakash Hedge

Prakash Hegde co-founder of Yogasophy Group (YG - an open Wellness Platform free for everyone), has been practicing Yoga for many years since his childhood. As a young child Prakash developed an immense interest for Yoga and got attached to a disciplined regular practice.

He continued rigorous training under his teachers at Sri Raghavendra Yoga School an affiliate of Sri Vivekanda Yoga University in India and got certified, also trained from Yoga Bharati, USA on the Astanga (Full Eight Limbs) Yoga System as detailed in Patanjali's Yoga Sutra Scriptures.

Prakash specializes in teaching Yoga at an experiential level. He is a true believer in the fundamental philosophy of Yoga that “Yoga adapts to an individual rather than an individual adapting to Yoga”. He says - "Embark on a joyful journey of life with simple Yoga related wellness practices and make your life a celebration for yourself and people around you. --Namaste"

While away from the Yoga mat, Prakash can be seen scaling new heights hiking peaks in Yosemite and mountain ranges in India, connecting with the divine nature. Through YG he extends his passion for Yoga and Wellness helping with various organizations throughout USA and India by organizing community awareness building Seminars, Workshops, Live practices and more.
Lori Maravilla

Lori Maravilla practiced yoga in San Francisco for ten years before studying with Bikram Choudhury in Los Angeles where she earned her teacher certification in 2000.

She teaches various yoga traditions incorporating all new challenging postures into one fabulous class.

“The more you expand the more you can learn” is her philosophy.
The class focus is on making a mind body connection. Breath is especially important in that relationship. New students are particularly welcome to Lori’s class which has many modifications to the Asana’s (postures) to help you on your journey.
Jamie McMaster

Jamie McMaster practiced Iyengar Yoga in Asia where he lived for many years before returning to the U.S. and discovering Bikram (Hot) Yoga four years ago. He enthusiastically trained in Oakland, Houston, and Vienna, Austria and then studied with Bikram Choudhury in Los Angeles where he earned his certification in 2002.

More recently, Jamie completed Advanced Teacher Training at It's Yoga in San Francisco and earned certification to teach
the "Rocket Series," Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

Jamie teaches at a variety of Bay Area studios, leads Intermediate and Advanced Workshops, practices Aunsara Yoga, Vipassana Meditation and Kundalini Yoga with Guru OmDasji. Jamie's emphasis is in the physiology of the asasnas with particular attention to breathing in the practice. He has a 14-year-old son, name Brooks.
Karen Izzo

Karen Izzo has studied yoga for over six years and received her 200 hour Teacher Training Certification through San Francisco's, Greenpath Yoga Studio in 2004. Her teacher, Clayton Horton, trained in India directly under Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the living Ashtanga Yoga Master.

Karen believes yoga is for everyone. She teaches yoga from the heart with warmth and humor by inviting students to enjoy a mindful practice with awareness of breath in order to
experience yoga as a form of celebration and an opportunity to discover greater joy and freedom within one's Self.

Karen's light hearted and compassionate approach to yoga helps to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students may explore their full potential, both on and off the mat.

Manoj Joshi (MJ)

Manoj has been practicing yoga from an early age and has been teaching yoga and meditation in the Bay Area since 1998. Manoj is pursuing his passion of improving quality of life with yoga principles and practices. Manoj co-founded Yogasophy Group, a social platform for promoting yoga philosophy Yogasophy Group, and also is a founding member and teacher at International Gurukul, a nonprofit organization promoting human excellence through yoga, dance and cultural education. He is available for private lessons and general health consultations as well. His consultation is holistic and is based on many alternative self care systems such as Ayurveda, Acupressure, Naturopathy, Reiki, Energy Wellness and Vedic Astrology. His program “Wellness By All Means” is a very popular program in corporations.
